2022年7月26日から27日にかけて、陸上自衛隊相浦駐屯地（長崎県佐世保市）の「水陸機動団」による日本の離島奪還訓練が行われました。
木更津駐屯地（千葉県）の暫定配備されている「オスプレイ」が、その隊員を輸送する任務を行うために熊本空港（高遊原駐屯地）に飛来しました。
陸自の「オスプレイ」は、九州初飛来でした。
これは7月27日（水）午前8時30分に熊本空港（高遊原駐屯地）を離陸して長崎県の大村空港に向かう1機目の「V22オスプレイ」です（No.2）。
On July 26-27, 2022, an exercise to
retake a remote Japanese island was
conducted by the "Amphibious Task
Force" of the Ground Self-Defense
Force Ainoura Garrison (Sasebo City,
Nagasaki Prefecture).
An "Osprey" provisionally
deployed at Kisarazu Garrison (Chiba
Prefecture) flew to Kumamoto Airport (Takayuubaru
Garrison) to perform a mission to
transport its personnel. This was the
first flight of the Ground Self-Defense
Force's "Osprey" to Kyushu.
This is the first "V22 Osprey"
that will take off from Kumamoto Airport
(Takayubaru Garrison) at 8:30 am on
Wednesday, July 27, and head for Omura
Airport in Nagasaki Prefecture（No.2）.
