1984年2月6日ー7日の新田原基地です。
このころは、日米共同訓練が新田原基地でありました。
冬のとても空気が澄んだ時期でした。
南国の宮崎県も体が凍てつくほど寒いでした（＞＜）。
米軍からは、嘉手納基地からF15Cが8機くらい飛来しました。
日本側からは、地元新田原基地のF15J及びF104Jと
築城基地のF4EJ及びF1が飛来し参加していました。
日米共同訓練（DACT）の合間に通常訓練も実施されてましたので
一日中、間断なく飛行機が離発着していました。
嘉手納基地のF15Cは、3部隊が毎年交代で遠征してきていました。
1985年〜’86年は、夏にも日米共同訓練が実施されてました。
百里基地からRF4 2機が展開しました。
初めて見るRF4に感動しました。

At F15C at Kadena Air Base, three units
took turns on an expedition.
From 1985 to 1986, Japan-US joint
training was held in the summer as well.
Two RF4 aircraft have been deployed from
Hyakuri base.
I was impressed by the RF4 I saw for the
