1987年11月の新田原基地航空祭終了後に、岩国基地に帰る米軍のFA18です。

この日は雨空でした。この珍しい飛行機を快晴の下で撮りたいでした。



It is FA18 of the US military returning to Iwakuni base after the end of the Nyutabaru base air festival in November 1987.

It was a rainy day. I wanted to shoot this rare plane in fine weather.

新田原基地で撮影した３０１SQ-F4EJです。
Ｆ４ＥＪ改はダーツターゲットを装着できませんでした。
そのために３０１ＳＱと３０２ＳＱのＦ４部隊には、Ｆ４ＥＪが数機いました。

It is 301SQ-F4EJ taken at Nyautabaru base.
F4EJ Kai could not install the darts target. Therefore, there were several F4EJs in the 301SQ and 302SQ F4 units.

The first photo is the old officially painted F4EJ-349. Taken on October 31, 1994.
The second photo is the new officially painted F4EJ-349. Taken on January 23, 1997.
