１９９７年５月末に新田原基地で航空自衛隊の戦技競技会が開催されました。

この年の戦技競技会時には、暫定塗装のAＧＲが５機（０６９，０７４，０７６，０８５，０８７）出現しました。

暫定塗装のAＧＲ　０６９号機です。
