２０１SQの８１８号機のキャノピー下に、白文字で機体整備長の文字と北海道の地図が書てあります。

Under the canopy of Unit 818 of 201SQ, the letters of the aircraft maintenance manager and the map of Hokkaido are written in white letters.

これは、1989.11.26の新田原基地航空祭です。
新田原基地航空祭にAV8ハリアーが初飛来しました。
AV8ハリアーは航空祭当日の午前9時ごろに飛来し、
垂直離着陸のデモフライトを２０分くらい観客に見せてくれました。

初めて見るハリアーの珍しい飛行に見とれていました。　大勢の観客からも歓声があがりました。


This is the Nyautabaru Air Base Festival on November 26, 1989.
The AV8 Harrier has arrived for the first time at the Nyautabaru Air Base Festival.
The AV8 Harrier flew in around 9 am on the day of the air festival and showed
the audience a demonstration flight of vertical takeoff and landing for about 20 minutes.
I was fascinated by the unusual flight of the Harrier that I saw for the first time. It wasMany spectators also cheered.
