築城基地の３０４SQ-F15の「天狗」マークのイラスト。
1997年の航空自衛隊の戦技競技会は新田原基地で開催されました。
垂直尾翼に「FZ」が記入されました。
この「FZ」は築城基地の空港コード ICAO（International Civil Aviation Organization）の RJFZを示していました。これは、米軍のテイルコードみたいで、とてもかっこいいでした。

The 1997 Air Self-Defense Force tactical competition was held at Nyutabaru Base.
"FZ" was written on the vertical tail.
This "FZ" indicates his RJFZ of the airport code ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) at Tsuiki Base.
This was like a US military tail code and was very cool.

Explanation about "Tengu"

Tengu is an imaginary goblin living deep in the mountains.
He has supernatural powers and is human in form. He has
a red face, a long nose and wings on his back, and flies as
he pleases with a feather fan in his hand.



























これは２００２年１０月初旬に新田原基地で撮影した３０１SQのF4です。
機関砲の射撃訓練標的（Aerial Gunnery Target System）を牽引するF4−422号機を追って2機のF4が離陸しました。


This is the 301SQ F4 taken at Nyutabaru Base in early October 2002.
Two F4s took off following F4-422, which is driving the aerial gunnery target system.
