日本の離島防衛を想定した陸上自衛隊と米海兵隊との日米共同実動訓練「アイアン・フィスト23」が、2023年2月16日から2023年3月中旬まで九州・沖縄の各地で開催されました。
熊本空港に隣接する陸上自衛隊高遊原駐屯地には、米海兵隊の　UH-1Yヴェノム３機　と　AH-1Z ヴァイパー４機が展開しました。

これらは、2023年2月22日（水）に撮影したUH-1YとAH-1Zです。



``Iron Fist 23,'' a Japan-U.S. joint field training exercise between the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force and the U.S. Marine Corps that simulates the defense of Japan's remote islands, will be held in various locations in Kyushu and Okinawa from February 16, 2023 to mid-March 2023.
Three of his UH-1Y Venoms and four of his AH-1Z Vipers of the U.S. Marine Corps were deployed to the Ground Self-Defense Force Takayuhara Garrison, adjacent to Kumamoto Airport.
These are UH-1Y and AH-1Z taken on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.
