2003年の戦技競技会を前にして、戦意高揚のためにF4の機首にシャークティースが書いてありました。
見事なF4の編隊着陸を、隊員さんたちが見守っていました。


This is a formation landing of 301SQ F4EJ Kai from RW28 taken at Nyutabaru Air Base in July 2003.
Before the 2003 combat competition, shark teeth were painted on the nose of the F4EJ Kai to boost fighting spirit.
Members of the team watched as the F4s made a spectacular formation landing.

これは、２００３年７月に新田原基地で撮影した、築城基地所属の３０４SQーF１５JのRW28からの編隊離陸です。
2003年の戦技競技会を前にして、戦意高揚のためにF１５Jの垂直尾翼に見事な「天狗」が描かれていました。「天狗」は３０４SQの部隊マークにもなっているマスコットです。



This is a formation takeoff from RW28 of 304SQ-F15J belonging to Tsuiki Air Base, taken at Nyutabaru Air Base in July 2003.
Before the 2003 combat competition, a large ``Tengu'' was painted on the vertical tail of the F15J to raise fighting spirit. "Tengu" is the mascot that also serves as the 304SQ's unit mark.

2003年の戦技競技会を前にして、各戦闘部隊を相手にするAGRも気合が入っていました。
095号機は、垂直尾翼の模様から、私たちマニアからアニメの「ピカチュウ」と呼ばれていました(^^;)。
