これは、１９９２年１１月の新田原基地航空祭で離陸した３０１ＳＱの１９９２年の戦技競技会参加塗装のＦ４ＥＪ改です。

この年のＦ４ＥＪ改は、濃淡の明るいグレー塗装を全体に施していました。

私たちマニアからは、これらのＦ４ＥＪ改は、ウシの「ホルスタイン」号とか、牛の鳴き声の「モーモー」号と呼ばれていました。



These are F4EJ Kai 301SQs that took off at the Nyutabaru Air Base Air Festival in November 1992, painted to participate in the 1992 combat competition.
This year's F4EJ Kai was painted with light gray paint in both dark and light shades. For us enthusiasts, these modified F4EJs were called the "Holstein" for cows, or the "Moo Moo" for cow noises.

これは、１９９４年５月の新田原基地で撮影した３０１SQのF4EJ改の３８４号機です。

1994年の戦技競技会に備えて、通常のガルグレイの正式塗装の上から、ブルー系グレイのオーバースプレイを機体全体に施していました。

In preparation for the 1994 combat competition, a blue-gray overspray was applied to the entire aircraft over the regular Gull Gray official paint.

これは、１９９５年５月の新田原基地で撮影した３０１SQのF4EJ改の３８４号機です。

１９９５年の戦技競技会はACM（空中戦闘機動）大会でなく、ガン射撃大会だったようです。
１９９５年の戦技競技会に備えて、かなり派手な戦意高揚のための塗装を機体に施していました。機首にはシャークティース、垂直尾翼はブラックテイルにそして胴体上部には「第五航空団を表す五と勝利を表すVマーク」を描いていました。
ちなみに、この機体のエアインテイクスプリッターベーンには、QF１０４を撃墜した「赤いサソリ」マークが描いてありました。

It seems that the 1995 combat competition was not an ACM (air combat maneuver) competition, but a gun shooting competition.
In preparation for the 1995 combat arts competition, the aircraft was painted with quite flashy paint to raise fighting spirit. The nose had shark teeth, the vertical tail was a blacktail, and the upper fuselage had a ``5'' representing the 5th Air Wing and a ``V'' symbol representing victory.
By the way, the "red scorpion" mark that shot down QF104 was painted on the air intake splitter vane of this aircraft.
