これは、１９９１年１１月３０日に新田原基地航空祭に飛来したCVW5のVF-21のF-14です。

厚木基地の米海軍第5空母航空団（ Carrier Air Wing Five,CVW-5）に所属する空母が、1991年9月に「ミッドウェイ」から「インディペンデンス」に替わりました。
それに伴い、VF-154とVF-21のF14が新たに配備されました。

私は、当時映画「トップガン」をみてからF14の大ファンで自分の目で見たくてたまりませんでした。
そのF14が、日本の南端にある新田原基地に飛来しました（＠＠）。
私は、大興奮して大はしゃぎしました。

This is an F-14 of VF-21 of CVW5 that flew to the Nyutabaru Air Base Air Festival on November 30, 1991.

In September 1991, the aircraft carrier belonging to the US Navy's Carrier Air Wing Five (CVW-5) at Atsugi Air Base changed from Midway to Independence.
Along with this, F14s of VF-154 and VF-21 were newly deployed.

I've been a big F14 fan ever since I saw the movie ``Top Gun'' at the time, and I couldn't wait to see it with my own eyes.
The F14 flew to Nyutabaru Air Base at the southern tip of Japan (@@).
I was so excited and had a blast.

これは、１９９１年１１月３０日に新田原基地航空祭に飛来したCVW5の空母「インディペンデンス」VFA-192とVFA-195のFA１８です。

This is FA18 of the CVW5 aircraft carrier "Independence" VFA-192 and VFA-195 that flew to the Nyutabaru Air Base Air Festival on November 30, 1991.

これは、２００２年１０月初旬に新田原基地で撮影した浜松基地の警戒航空隊の早期警戒管制機E-767の離陸です。

これは、2002年9月29日の芦屋基地航空祭で撮影したV-107バートルのデモフライトです。
UH-60Jへの機種変更を前に、V-107バートルのでもフライトは、私にとってとっても貴重でした。

This aircraft was painted to participate in this year's Air Force Combat Competition.
301SQ won the interception division at this year's combat competition.

これは、2002年に新田原基地で撮影した千歳基地２０１SQのT4です。
私にとって、北国の機体はなかなか縁がなく、貴重な機体です。

For me, aircraft from northern countries are rare and valuable.

これは、 1990.10.19に新田原基地で撮影した３０１SQのF4EJです。
この年の航空総隊戦技競技会（ガン射撃大会）に参加した機体です。

戦意高揚のために、この３７１号機の機首にはダーツターゲットをくわえたシャークティースが描いてありました。

左側機首のシャークティースはダーツターゲットに、弾痕まで描いてありました。なかなか凝った塗装の機体でした。

This is F4EJ of 301SQ taken at Nyutabaru Air Base on October 19, 1990.
This is the aircraft that participated in the Air Force Combat Competition (gun shooting competition) this year.

In order to boost fighting spirit, the nose of this No. 371 aircraft had a shark tooth with a dart target in its mouth drawn on it.

The shark teeth on the left side of the nose had bullet holes drawn on them as dart targets. It was a very elaborately painted aircraft.

２００２年７月中旬に、新田原基地に築城基地のＦ１が４機飛来し、対地攻撃訓練しました。

これらは、新田原基地のRW28エンドに着陸して、ドラッグシュートを引くF1です。

In mid-July 2002, four F1 aircraft from Tsuiki Air Base flew to Nyutabaru Air Base to conduct ground attack training.
These are F1s that land on the RW28 end of Nyutabaru base and pull the drag chute.
