離陸後、この機体はRW上を高速で低空フライパスしました。あまりの速さに、この機体にピントが合いませんでした。
F14が翼を閉じたショットはこの時だけで、とっても悔しいです。

After takeoff, the aircraft made a high-speed, low-altitude flypass over the RW. I was unable to focus on this aircraft due to its speed.
This is the only shot of the F14 with its wings closed, and it's very frustrating.

これは、１９９３年２月に新田原基地で恒例の日米共同訓練（コープ・ノース９３）が行われました。有りました。
この年は、嘉手納基地のKC135タンカーが２機が飛来しました。
夕方に、当時見たこともない米海軍機Ｃ-2Ａが来ました。超お宝機に満足して帰りました。

VRC-50 Foo Dogsは、空母などへの兵站補給支援を行なう飛行隊として1966年10月1日に厚木基地で開隊され、 その後NAS North Island、フィリピンのNAS Cubi Point、グアムのNas Aganaと、ホームペースを転々とし、最終拠点地アンダーセン空軍基地にて1994年10月7日に解散した。 現在はVRC-30がVRC-50の役割を担っている。

This year, two KC135 tankers from Kadena Air Base flew in.

According to the website:
The VRC-50 Foo Dogs was launched on October 1, 1966 at Atsugi Air Base as a squadron to provide logistics support to aircraft carriers, etc., and was subsequently deployed to NAS North Island, NAS Cubi Point in the Philippines, and Nas Agana in Guam. After changing home bases, the group disbanded on October 7, 1994 at Andersen Air Force Base. Currently, VRC-30 is playing the role of VRC-50.
