２０１６年１０月３１日に、新田原基地所属の３０１SQーF4EJが百里基地に移駐しました。
私は、２０１６年８月に、日ごろお世話になっている同好の友人の伝手で新田原基地内のF４EJ改ー３１５号機を見学させていただきました。
私は、実機を実際に間近で見て、そして触れることができ、私の一生の思い出ができいました。
この日、お世話になった皆さんに厚く感謝申し上げます。
下は、その時にコンパクトデジカメで撮影した画像です。
On October 31st, 2016, the 301st SQ F4EJ
belonging to Nyutabaru Air Base was relocated to
Hyakuri Air Base.In August 2016, I had the
opportunity to tour the F4EJ Kai No. 315 at
Nyutabaru Air Base through an introduction from a
fellow enthusiast friend who I am always grateful
to.I was able to see and touch the actual
aircraft up close, which created a memory that
will last me a lifetime. I would like to express
my deepest gratitude to everyone who helped me
that day.Below is an image I took with my compact
digital camera at that time. |

２０１６年１０月３１日に、新田原基地所属の３０１SQーF4EJが百里基地に移駐しました。

２０１６年８月に新田原基地を訪れた際に、F4パイロットの方から、F4EJの「ヨーストリンガー」（1枚目写真）の存在と意義について教えて頂きました。
私は、普段F4の写真を撮りますが、これは初耳でした。そして感動ものでした。
この「ヨーストリンガー」が写ったF4EJの写真を探してみました。
以下、これについての解説内容をインターネットの各ウエブサイトから引用しました。「Ｆ−４EJのキャノピー前方に１本のタコ糸がついています。これはヨーストリンガー（偏揺れ指示糸）といい、飛行中の機体の横滑り等を判断するため取付けられています。とても原始的ですが、一目で機体の滑りを表現してくれます。」「T33やF14などにもついていました。」
When I visited Nyutabaru Air Base in August 2016,
an F4 pilot told me about the existence and
significance of the F4EJ's "Yaw Stringer"
(first photo).I usually take photos of F4s, but
this was the first time I'd heard of it. And it
was an impressive thing.I tried to find photos of
an F4EJ that showed this "Yaw Stringer".Below
are explanations about it quoted from various
websites on the Internet."There is a single
piece of string attached to the front of the
canopy of the F-4EJ. This is called a yaw
stringer (yaw indicator string), and is installed
to determine the aircraft's sideways slippage
during flight. It is very primitive, but it shows
the aircraft's slippage at a glance." "They
were also attached to the T33 and F14." |

２０１６年８月１日昼前に、百里基地から３０５SQのF15Jが４機 新田原基地に飛来しました。
ウキペディアによりますと、「３０５SQは、2016年8月31日に、第７航空団百里基地から、
新田原基地に移駐し第5航空団隷下に編入された。」とあります。
これは、その移駐のための先遣隊だったのかもしれませんね。

２０１６年８月１日昼前に、百里基地から３０５SQのF15Jが４機 新田原基地に飛来しました。
これらの機体を迎えるエプロン上には、第５航空団旗と３０１SQの部隊旗がはためいていました。
初めて見る第５航空団の旗は、とってもかっこいいと思いました。
Just before noon on August 1, 2016, four F15Js
from the 305th SQ arrived at Nyutabaru Air Base
from Hyakuri Air Base.The 5th Air Wing flag and
the 301st SQ unit flag were fluttering above the
apron welcoming these aircraft.It was my first
time seeing the 5th Air Wing flag, and I thought
it was very cool. |

２０１６年８月１日昼前に、百里基地から３０５SQのF15Jが４機 新田原基地に飛来しました。
これらの機体の整備を３０１SQの隊員さんが行っていました。
３０１SQの隊員さんのTシャツ、とってもかっこいいと思いました。

maintaining these aircraft.I thought the T-shirts
the 301st SQ members were wearing looked really
